Renowned innovator Rainer Armbruster is being inducted into the Plastics Hall of Fame for revolutionising injection moulding with his cube moulds.

Rainer Armbruster, recognised worldwide as one of the most innovative mould makers, has been nominated for induction into the Plastics Hall of Fame. Known for his pioneering work in the development of cube moulds, Armbruster has revolutionised injection moulding technology.

Armbruster's cube moulds offer unparalleled economic advantages in the production of three and more component plastic parts on one moulding machine. With volumes in excess of 100 million parts per year and four rotating mould surfaces, additional processes are seamlessly integrated into part production in a smaller footprint.

Rainer Armbruster will receive the award for his exceptional technical creativity and willingness to bring even the most complex mould concepts into production during a gala event at the NPE in Orlando on 5 May 2024.

Today, Rainer Armbruster leads the moldmaking division of Barnes Molding Solutions under the Foboha and Männer brands. Armbruster holds an impressive 35 patents, a testament to his unwavering commitment to innovation.
