Provider of marking and traceability solutions, Sic Marking, has announced the acquisition of Zaniboni in Turin, Italy.
Specialist in marking and traceability for the automotive, aerospace, mechanical and energy sectors, Sic Marking, has announced the acquisition of Zaniboni. With the takeover, the Italian expert in design, manufacture and sale of customised marking and laser traceability solutions for the automotive and mechanical sectors will be then officially known as Sic Zaniboni.
Founded in 1977, Zaniboni began introducing laser technology in 1994 in marking and traceability solutions, making it a pioneer in the integration of this technology. The company has established itself both at home and internationally and has strategic partnerships with international groups like SKF, for which it has delivered several hundred solutions around the world.
“We are now looking forward to starting our collaboration to be able to propose new offers and services to our Italian customers and then to the world,” says Jean-Manuel Pauchet, General Manager at Sic Marking.
CEO at Sic Zaniboni Mr. Zaniboni notes: "To ensure our future growth, it was essential for us to join an international group specialised in marking and industrial traceability and was complementary in terms of offer.” He added that Sic Marking was the obvious choice because of the company's capacity for innovation, customer-centric culture as well as its wide services portfolio and international footprint.
