The 800 and 500 family with their new embedded processor and data storage, provides a platform for increased efficiency and reliable colour measurement. The reference grade instruments have colour LCD screens that display instrument settings and calibration status. The integrated processor enables the state of the instruments to be validated through remote diagnostics. An Ethernet port allows for simultaneous connection of multiple computers to the same instrument and measurement speed within a global Citrix or terminal server environment is also substantially improved.

The spectrophotometer DC 200 is fully backward compatible with the existing Datacolor 110. According to the company, it offers modern colour-measuring technology in a compact design and can maintain instrument calibration up to two weeks. Also, it's sphere geometry enables accurate colour measurement of both flat and textured samples. Automatic gloss detection enables determination of sample sheen to assure perfect colour formulation. The compact design, the integrated accessories drawer as well as the service control light makes the device very user-friendly. The lab-grade accuracy of the DC 200 combined with Datacolor Paint V. 2.0 software provides industry leading color-matching accuracy, eliminating mis-tints while improving productivity and ease of use.
