According to Renishaw, this AM system boasts an open architecture that ensures flexibility and compatibility with a range of systems and applications.

"With more than 40 years of experience supporting manufacturers around the globe, Renishaw understands how the manufacturing process chain is changing to include new technologies," explained Clive Martell, head of global additive manufacturing at Renishaw.

"Additive manufacturing is still a relatively specialised technology with a limited cohort of expertise, which is a barrier to adoption that many businesses find difficult to overcome. Renishaw is breaking down all these barriers with developments in advanced additive manufacturing systems, its network of Solutions Centres and industry collaborations."
