At the 2024 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, Easy CMM is set to introduce its latest products. The company will present its Chameleon retrofit CMM motion controller and Mediator CMM software.

At the booth of Easy CMM at IMTS, attendees will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the Chameleon controller, touted as one of the most advanced retrofit CMM motion controllers currently available. The Chameleon is designed to integrate with a wide range of CMM brands without the need for additional software upgrades, part program modifications, or I++ protocol changes. It is compatible with various leading CMM software programs, including PC-DMIS, Mcosmos, Calypso, Touch DMIS, Verisurf, Polyworks, Camio, Quartis and CMM Manager.

The Mediator software further enhances CMM user experience by allowing the operation of any CMM software while maintaining the original CMM controller, thus avoiding the need for hardware changes. It is capable of supporting both tactile and scanning probes, as well as specific line-laser probes, providing significant flexibility for users.

Additionally, Easy CMM will present its Mapper software, a tool designed for CMM calibration. The Mapper software enables users to access and adjust error maps from major CMM controllers, including Hexagon, Mitutoyo, Renishaw and Zeiss, offering a comprehensive solution for calibration needs in the CMM industry.
