Fakuma 2015 Dry ice machinery provides high levels of cleaning aggression, reliable blast stream
Germany – Cold Jet will be showing a new range of accessories, branded as Plastics Edition.
The new range will come packaged with an enhanced range of the company's Aero Series dry ice cleaning systems. Cold Jet says that the new equipment is designed to provide excellent pellet integrity, the highest levels of cleaning aggression and the most reliable blast stream currently available on the market.
The Aero series has been consolidated into three levels of functionality: Aero, Aero 40FP and Aero 80FP (FP stands for Full range of Pressure). The base Aero machine is equipped with Cold Jet's proprietary SureFlow system with an isolated, insulated hopper that is intended to reduce sublimation, as well as anti-clogging hopper agitation; a radial feeder that is designed to provide smooth cleaning performance; and aerodynamic fittings that are claimed to minimise air requirements. The mid-level Aero 40FP and top-of-the-line Aero 80FP systems are said to offer a full range of pressure, increased feed rates and compatibility with larger blast hoses.
Cold Jet says that the new designs offer reduced wear: a lighter, compact and more energy-efficient motor; a new rotor design that provides pulse-free blasting and precise feed rate control, and an onboard pressure regulator.
