The EVO Cam II digital microscope is a new tool that combines ultra-sharp images with intuitive operation to enable smart digital inspection and documentation in the production, laboratory and quality environments, Vision Engineering says.

Today, precise and reliable processes are expected, especially in microscopic inspection, which EVO Cam II can achieve. Among its new features are custom overlays, Wi-Fi image transfer, UV ring light and a redesigned on-screen menu, which make daily routine work easier. High-resolution images are captured in detail and components can be quickly and reliably inspected for errors in the live image within fractions of a second. Image reproduction at 60 frames per second allows for live images without motion blur and its optical magnification of 1.7x to 300x makes macroscopic and microscopic images possible.

EVO Cam II comes with an optional measurement and documentation software to enable 2D measurement functions and focus stacking. Fast and uncomplicated images can also be captured at the touch of a button and saved on a USB stick. An optional UV ring light can be adapted to the digital microscope for testing protective coatings and surfaces especially in electronics, aerospace and forensics.

Quality control,manufacturing, fault analysis, R&D and training are areas in which the image quality of EVO Cam II is an advantage.
