During processing, the blades begin to vibrate. Now, a novel clamping system developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in Aachen, Germany is said to boost vibration absorption for the blades by more than 400 times, and to cut manufacturing costs by as much as €5,000.
