Creaform’s sales of Can$11.6 million (US$11.7 million; €8.9 million) for the fourth quarter of 2011 represents a new company record for that segment of the fiscal year.

“In 2011, we have managed to use the economic upswing to our advantage,” explained Creaform CEO Martin Lamontagne. “We have reached extremely satisfactory year-over-year figures and even exceeded our annual sales target by a good margin.”

Lamontagne reported that Creaform’s 3D Engineering Services division surpassed its optimistic forecasts and that its sales of metrology technologies more than doubled. The Canada-headquartered company also registered success in 2011 with respect to its sales of optical measurement technologies. The EMEA and APAC business areas both increased by 38% over 2010, and year-on-year growth in the Americas was 30% overall; revenues from the United States rose by 53%. According to Lamontagne, these figures confirm that Creaform’s worldwide expansion strategy is paying off.

Also in 2011, Creaform reported, its head office near Montreal and two service offices received certification to the international quality-management standard ISO 9001:2008.
