According to the organisers, the Control international trade fair for quality assurance is coming on strong once again in 2017 with a comprehensive portfolio of components, modules, stand-alone solutions and complete systems. Measuring technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, optoelectronics, image processing and vision systems, hardware and software for quality assurance, are some of the main topics of the trade fair.

Besides, entirely new demands for suppliers all over the world are resulting from ever stricter requirements on the part of manufacturing companies with regard to the integration of Industry 4.0 structures and more in-depth use of, for example, 3D measuring technology and industrial image processing. In keeping with tradition, convincing answers will first be presented to the trade visitors by the manufacturers at the 31st Control, which will once again be held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 9th through the 12th of May, 2017.

Not only have the developers and manufacturers of the corresponding hardware and software made a significant contribution to the current state of the art of industrial quality assurance, but rather above all the research institutes, university laboratories, institutions, associations and scientific organisations as well. They often initiate new approaches, generate ideas for innovative developments and stimulate the expansion of existing markets and the penetration of new ones.

As a logical consequence, the Control international trade fair for quality assurance will mobilise everybody who’s anybody in the industry sector once again in 2017 – on the one hand with more than 900 exhibitors (Control 2016 had 914 exhibitors from 31 countries) who will showcase worldwide offerings for quality assurance hardware and software and, on the other hand, by means of collaboration with leading institutions and opinion-makers from all areas of industrial quality assurance.

The organisers of the fair are satisfied with the numbers: "With over 900 exhibitors, manufacturers and suppliers from 30 countries, an exhibition floor space of well over 535,000 square feet and a new hall layout, the 31st Control - International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance - once again sets global standards!" said Bettina Schall, managing director at Schall.
