Control 2017 Colour measurement made easy
Germany – Family-owned Color-Lite, based in Southern Lower Saxony, will proudly present a new colour management system for its spectrophotometer Sph-xs-1 at Control. "A great advantage of our innovative products is the user-friendly handling, plus the support our team provides to our customers,” Dr. David Pryor, managing director of the company that specialises in the field of spectral colour measurement technology, says.
The compact Sph-xs-1 will feature an integrated data matrix and barcode camera. Color-Lite adds that the Scan-Measure-Print function automates within seconds. Colour data together with customer-specific variables, such as part and number-groups, are automatically scanned and printed on a label. Apart from colour data such as CIE-L*a*b* values, a 60° gloss measurement according to DIN 67530, has also been implemented.
Another new model, the mobile spectrophotometer Sph-Rugged 2 has been designed for use in difficult ambient conditions. It is IP65-waterproofed and resistant to vibrations and hard knocks, making it operational mainly in production. The Rugged devices are available with d/0°, d/8° and 45/0° geometries. They come with O-LED colour displays and slim aluminium housing. The handheld Rugged devices reminds one of the latest generation of smartphones. The read data is communicated via W-Lan or Bluetooth 4.0 to the PC. Colour standards and values can be stored and retrieved on a virtual cloud database.
Colo-Lite's PC software, Color-Da-Tra Professional, offers numerous evaluation and output possibilities. The company also offers custom-made online-colour measurement technology for inline production control in addition to hand and labour metrology.
Color-Lite will be in hall 4, booth 4208.
