Additive manufacturing, toolmaking and injection moulding expert Cirp celebrated its 30th anniversary at its headquarters in Heimsheim, Germany, with a day focused on future technologies, sustainability and networking. The event featured 11 expert lectures on topics ranging from advanced manufacturing to digitalization, alongside behind-the-scenes tours of the company’s facilities.

On 18 September, Cirp celebrated its 30th anniversary at its headquarters in Heimsheim, Germany, with an eventful day dedicated to future-oriented technologies, networking and sustainability. A series of lectures and an exclusive look behind the scenes were the highlights of the 30 highlights with which the company surprised its invited guests. The selected guest speakers from well-known companies in a wide range of fields provided an impressive cross-section of the company's network and portfolio.

The specialist in additive manufacturing, toolmaking and injection moulding is active in sectors such as automotive, design and architecture, mechanical engineering and medicine. The medium-sized company has strong regional roots and an international network. The programme of eleven high-level lectures was correspondingly wide-ranging, covering topics from new materials and substances, to recycling management and advanced manufacturing technologies, to the challenges of supplier contracts or digitalisation. In addition, the future of air taxis and sports car design, as well as the combined application of 3D printing in visceral surgery, provided further thematic highlights. “This means a wealth of information for our guests and at the same time we are providing insights into the contribution we can make with our company's own innovative strength,” says Thomas Lück, Head of Sales and Innovation at Cirp. “In order to keep our finger on the pulse with our customers and partners and to advance projects together, we are constantly developing, questioning, testing, learning and adjusting. We are proud to say that we have been doing this for 30 years, always with an eye on the future. This is how we ensure our continued success.”

Between the presentations, the approximately 100 guests took the opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes. Specialists from research and sales provided expert tours of the production halls. Participants had the opportunity to discover selected exhibits and to have individual questions answered by the experts. Another highlight and the prospect of even more technical expertise was the raffle of vouchers from Cirp for a “Basic Training in Plastics”.

The breaks and the subsequent party were used for lively exchanges and in-depth discussions. “The great atmosphere and the consistently positive feedback on our event is the greatest compliment for the entire cirp team and for me,” adds Ralf Nachreiner, founder and Managing Director of Cirp. “An anniversary is a good opportunity to look back over the past and take stock. However, it was particularly important to us that the anniversary also provided impetus for the future, and we want to continue on this dynamic path together with our customers and partners.
