The EH chip breaker inserts from Taegutec feature a specially designed geometry to assure reliable stainless steel machining, the company said.

Designed for heavy machining applications, the single-sided EH chip breaker is said to promote excellent chip control, minimise built-up edges and offer excellent surface finish.
Furthermore, the inserts allow for cutting forces to be minimised in stainless steel applications, according to Taegutec.
The supplier further explained that a strong cutting edge on the EH geometry provides users the opportunity for high feed rates, a factor said to result in both high productivity and uniform performance in heavy turning applications.
