Open Mind said it has appointed an application engineer to be permanently based in Ireland to help develop and support the local market.
Ryan McClure, an Irishman, has been working in the UK for Open Mind for more than three years, the company said, noting that he has been dealing with key customers in the aerospace and motorsport sectors.

Since the company recently added two application engineers, McClure now has the opportunity to work in the more familiar Irish manufacturing industry, working out of Belfast.
Prior to his appointment at Open Mind, Ryan was a programmer with an Irish aerospace subcontract company, which produced complex components for the likes of Bombardier, the company reported.
