Brother Industries says it is expanding its focus on sustainable injection moulding in the UK, supported by advanced production technology as well as cooperation with engineers and university partners. At its site in Wrexham, North Wales, the company has been producing plastic parts for more than 30 years for sectors including automotive, electronics and pharmaceuticals.

“We are committed to sustainability,” explained a company spokesperson. “Because of this, we operate a carbon-neutral, zero-waste-to-landfill facility that specialises in the use of post-consumer recycled plastics. Our goal is to recycle parts quickly and efficiently so our customers can get their products to market on time.”

The site operates microprocessor-controlled injection moulding machines with clamping forces of up to 650 tonnes. The machines are equipped with automatic robots to support consistency and efficiency in production. Brother Industries adds that its technicians and engineers continuously refine manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve productivity, with solutions adapted to customer requirements.

The company states that this setup enables it to meet demanding dimensional tolerances and specifications in technically challenging applications. It also offers a range of inspection equipment, including scanners and portable scopes, to carry out measurements and verify reported data.

“We understand that every firm has its own set of goals, challenges, and priorities,” a company spokesperson said. “That's why Brother Industries takes time to know all of our clients individually and what they want to achieve. We also explore the obstacles that they're facing and on how we can contribute to their growth and profitability.”
