The AS-9 Plus polishing stone is designed to provide a fast and smooth cutting action similar to the AS-9, but with enhanced finishing capabilities. This is due to its manufacture using premium aluminium oxide grit, which tends to produce wider scratches on the tool surface, resulting in a smoother finish. The AS-9 Plus, like its predecessor, is suitable for all types of tool steel and EDM scale surfaces.

The aim of the engineering team was to develop a stone that could offer efficiency benefits to polishers. After extensive testing, feedback indicated that the AS-9 Plus had a balanced breakdown that could help achieve desired results faster.
