Joke Blasting device ensures clean, shiny workpiece surfaces
With the Microjet tabletop fine blasting device, Joke can now ensure clean, brilliant surfaces, the company said. The light and compact device is said to be ideal for removing residues and oxidations and for polishing precious metal surfaces.
Designed as a tabletop device, it is particularly versatile, Joke emphasised: up to three different blasting shots from separate containers can be used during processing, depending on the application. The Microjet comes with a handpiece and pneumatic foot switch and a broad viewing window with easily replaceable protective film. A compressed air controller is installed (0.5 to 6 bars) with a filter and gloves. The blasting shot container accepts blasting shot with a diameter of between 150 and 250 nm, Joke said. Various fine blasting nozzles (Ø 0.8, 1.0 or 1.2 mm) are available for the handpieces. According to Joke, the Microjet consumes max. 80 l of air per minute at a max. pressure of 6 bar. Light switches are provided.
