The Italian injection moulding specialist Sapa has announced the 100 percent acquisition of Megatech Industries. This also includes the German sites. Sapa aims to expand its leading position in the field of plastic injection moulding and to expand its international customer base and presence.

Megatech is a European player in the field of plastic injection moulding for the mobility industry. Sapa hopes to combine the strengths of both companies and further scale its one-shot technology. With the acquisition, Sapa is gaining subsidiaries in Germany, Brazil and the Czech Republic and strengthening its presence on the Iberian Peninsula.

In 2024, Sapa generated a turnover of around 360 million euros and employed more than 2,000 people in seven countries. The new Sapa Group is expected to generate a turnover of almost 700 million euros.
