With the aim of advancing large-scale serial production Amexci and Nikon SLM Solutions have expanded their partnership. To this end, the partners apply cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies.

Amexci, a specialist in serial additive manufacturing, and Nikon SLM Solutions, a provider of integrated metal additive manufacturing solutions, have announced an expansion of their partnership. This collaboration aims to advance the scope of large-scale serial production using advanced additive manufacturing machines.

Amexci has invested in the Nikon SLM Solutions NXG XII 600 machine as part of its strategic scale-up, introducing a new phase in its manufacturing capabilities, alongside an additional SLM500 700W machine for Titanium.

The Nikon SLM Solutions NXG XII 600, designed to print large parts up to dimensions of 600 x 600 x 600 mm³, features twelve lasers and is noted for its efficiency, performing up to ten times better than comparable machines currently available. Amexci's adoption of this technology demonstrates its commitment to expanding the possibilities within additive manufacturing to meet increasing demands for large-scale, high-quality, serial production.

The partnership reflects a mutual commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of additive manufacturing. By merging Amexci’s expertise in industrial applications of additive manufacturing with Nikon SLM Solutions' advanced technology, the collaboration is expected to deliver enhanced production solutions characterized by greater speed, scalability, and environmental sustainability.
