Stratasys ABS moulds withstand high pressures
USA/ Israel/ Europe – Visitors to the Stratasys booth will be able to see how the company’s recently launched J750 3D printer, claimed as the world's only full colour, multi-material 3D printer, quickly produces digital ABS moulds that can withstand the high pressures and temperatures of a Dr. Boy injection moulding machine.
A number of prototype samples will be tested using a diverse range of final part materials to showcase high-performance capabilities of digital ABS mould cavities for low-volume injection moulding that is said to be good for increased efficiency, profitability and significantly decreased lead times, the company notes.
Numerous other exhibits include a variety of 3D printing applications that enhance a number of other traditional manufacturing processes and Stratasys’ Fortus 450mc 3D printer, a multi-purpose solution for manufacturers.
