EMO 2017 A Boost in Threading

The Japanese manufacturer of taps and dies for internal and external threading operations, Yamawa, unveiled its new MHSP taps at EMO Hannover.

The MHSP taps series is designed to improve productivity when tapping blind holes in medium-hard steel components. Typical applications for the taps are workpieces such as hub bearings, connecting rods, crankshafts and differential ring gears,. The taps with a special coating and geometry are available in sizes from M8 to M16.
