Effective cooling of components is crucial for successful production, as insufficient cooling can lead to material defects. Starck Norma offers a new solution with its 3D-printed spiral cores for near-contour core cooling. These cores enable targeted and uniform cooling at every point of the component and prevent undesired effects such as warping or cracks. The spiral structure of the core ensures optimum heat dissipation and high dimensional stability of the plastic products with reduced cycle times.

The spiral cores are available in three different designs and are equipped with rheologically optimised trapezoidal cross-sections that guarantee low pressure losses.

They are available in single-start, double-start and double-start for ejectors with dimensions from Ø12 to Ø 80 in lengths from 125 to 250 mm.

This innovative technology enables improved efficiency and product quality, resulting in higher quality plastic products produced in less time. Companies can optimise their processes and be more competitive in the market.

The company offers many standard dimensions as well as special dimensions adapted to the design in the shortest delivery times.
